Class Summary This is part summary of the my posted evaluation and a self-summary for Nursing 660. The evaluation posted received 2 responses and hopefully they were both candid reflections as to my performance during this class. The one critique for future growth was a lack of technical polish in the closed caption video and infographic projects. In the beginning, I felt some parts of the class were trial and error after looking up on Google or other sites a million times for the answers. I would agree that the cc project was daunting for me. I was very concerned about my timeline for completing the project. The sound was not as clear as I would have liked and probably experimenting with some other video tools could have certainly added a more polished end product and palatable for the audience. I can definitely see the value in using technology for nursing education and promoting communication by using professional/social media. One area that I did not master is twitter. For that reason, I can certainly see that without linking the feed between blog-twitter account there is no way to notify followers without them having to go into each blog every time. This is cumbersome and time-consuming. For serious bloggers/tweeters, there are definitely certain 'rules' that need to take place or you lose followers to your site. All in all, this was an interesting and challenging experience. I have appreciated your comments and have learned from many of them. Your camaraderie has been important as many of us have had different struggles at different times. You have been an amazing group and I wish each of you personal and professional success as you continue or finish your MSN.
