    1. Thank you, Stacy. I appreciate your comments. Unfortunately, the truth is I was sick the whole week that it was due and had to do the audio in parts so I could speak. It was scratchy and I couldn't edit it out, no matter what I did. Surprisingly, same microphone for the infograph and no distorted sound! Go figure, voice quality and resonance is everything when it comes to recording.

  2. Your video shows your expertise in this area of nursing. Your colors are well selected to highlight every part of the video. The close cap in white over black makes it very easy to read and follow. I observe that you still have about 3 minutes left to complete the 15 minutes time line. Would you consider rolling your closed cap so that you may be able to show all the words you have said while keeping each slide in view. You can fast forward it a little bit to keep up with time.
Your work thoroughly explains what Public Health Nursing is all about. As you already know, I have always admired this aspect of nursing and I will definitely honor your invitation to join whenever the govt has enough budget to hire new nurses.
    Good job Loretta!

    1. I glad the you enjoyed it. I originally went over the timeline and shaved off some content, which all in all made it more concise. So you are correct, according to my counter on Camtasia I have a one and 1/2 minutes left. You know how it is when you are trying to accomplish all pieces of the assignment. This is a particularly 'dry' topic unless you are in Public Health or interested in the topic. I had some concerns about the manner it was presented and had several ideas for the video. Due to issues of confidentiality and obtaining appropriate permissions/releases I chose this approach. Also, this was not my original topic, I switched gears. This was geared more toward my profession and thesis topic.

  3. AWESOME WORK! It's obvious that you put a lot of time, energy, and effort into this video and it certainly paid off. This video is so informative and (I think) easily accessible by nurses and laypersons alike. You really outdid yourself Loretta! I am so proud of you!!!

    1. Brenda,
I had hoped to use 'real' people, but this is difficult and requires some permissions that I would not have been able to accomplish in time. Like I mentioned above, I had another topic in mind but changed mid stream.
